But before you sign up, there are some things you should know

What can you expect from the Sociolotron Adult Game?	We have run the game in open beta test free of charge for over two years before we decided to start charging, and we have eliminated most of the hard bugs. There are still minor problems remaining but nothing that really hinders playing and having fun. So you can expect a pretty stable program. However, due to the very small size of our company, we can not provide a polished, glossy product like the big guys. You should be aware of this before you sign up! Remember: Sociolotron is about role playing and not about shiny graphics. If your first concern is graphics, sound and a cool GUI, please don't sign up! On the other hand, our volunteer staff of game masters and counselors do a great job making sure that you find an enjoyable role play environment. Also, you will meet some of the best people here and will surely be able to find great friends, so if that's what you're looking for, you have come to the right place!
What is the price?	Although our technique is restricted due to our small size, we offer a very moderate and fair price concept on the other hand. The first month is only $4 and you have 30 days to decide if you want to stay or not. You can cancel anytime and will not be re-billed again, however there is no refund of already paid fees. If you are worried about a subscription and our payment processor CCBill, please take the time to check out CCBill on the web. You will find that they are among the first addresses for payment processing for adult products. There has never been a problem with them and they are extremely honest and reliable. Here is the complete pricing system: - $4 for the first 30 days - $9.95 per month after that - After 6 month your price will be lowered to $8.95 per month - After 1 year your price will be lowered to $7.95 per month
How do I unsubscribe?	Just go to www.ccbill.com and click on the Cancel Membership link on the left site.
Requirements:	You should have the following Hard / Software: - Intel P4 / AMD at least 1000 MHz. P3's have been reported to run acceptable at best. - 256 MB Ram. 128 Is possible but slows down the game. Memory compensates for a slower processor. - Any modern graphic card. No particular stress on the graphic card, so anything you find on the shelves these days or a year ago is fine. - 56 K Modem is fine for play, but be ready for a night session when downloading the client - Windows XP/2000. The client has been reported to run on Windows 98/ME/SE as well but there are known problems with the graphic and in some cases, the client won't run at all on Windows 98. If you have a pre Win 2000 version, you are on your own. We will not be able to provide any technical help with problems on these Windows versions. Windows Vista works if you run it in administrator mode. There is help available in our forum and in IRC.
Restrictions	1. You are 21 years of age or older. 2. It is legal for you to participate in adult oriented roleplaying and see related pictures. 3. You are not offended by reading about a highly politically incorrect form of roleplay involving sexually explicit situation, roleplay of crimes, vampirism, demonism and any other adult fantasy. 4. You will quit playing Sociolotron if you encounter any topic that offends you. 5.Furthermore, you declare that you have read and understood the Legal Terms And Conditions and that you agree to all of these terms and that all statements made in the terms about customers of the Sociolotron SM game are true for you. 6. You are not employed in law enforcement acting in any way in connection with your duties or what you see as your responsibilities as law enforcement.

By clicking on the button below, you will be taken to a CCBill site where you sign up for the game service. This website and the following confirmation website are not on our servers but on CCBill's.

CCBill's signup form will ask you if you are 18 years or older. However, we require that you be 21 years or older. So clicking yes on the CCBill website will not grant you legal access to Sociolotron if you are not 21 years old! When logging into the game you will be asked again to confirm that you are 21 years of age.

Please make sure you filled out all fields on the form correctly. Please note, that the form contains a field USERNAME. This username will NOT be used! However you have to enter it for technical reasons, since it can not be removed from the form. YOUR USERNAME FOR THE GAME WILL BE YOUR TRANSACTION ID GIVEN TO YOU ON THE CONFIRMATION PAGE AFTER YOU SIGNED UP! Be sure to print that page and keep it in a safe place!

You will also receive a separate automated email from CCBill with access information, information about our forum, the IRC support channel and other important information to get you started. If you don't receive that email 20 minutes after you signed up, please write to contact@sociolotron.com with your transaction ID. We will then send you a manually generated email. If there are any immediate problems with the signup process or your account, you can also contact sociolotron_emergency in yahoo messenger. There is also a contact page that holds yahoo messenger information from many of our staff members.

Before you sign up, be sure you read our disclaimer and the EULA (End User License Agreement) of Sociolotron to which you must agree before you can play Sociolotron.

Attention:

CCBill does have problems sending to yahoo email addresses sometimes. If you have multiple emails, use a non-yahoo email to sign up. DON'T SIGN UP TWICE IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE YOUR WELCOME EMAIL! Send a mail to contact@sociolotron.com instead!

IMPORTANT: Make sure your spam filters are turned off. Spam filters are blocking many valid emails these days and they are becoming increasingly annoying.

Don't give a fake email address! Your email address is your primary means of identification. If you lose your password or your username later or request a change in your entries, all communication will be sent to that email address only. If you have no access to that email address in the future, we will not send any information to another email address. No exceptions. You have been warned!
